Abstract

Hypertension is often called a silent killer because it triggers other deadly diseases and increases the risk of heart attack, heart failure, stroke, and renal failure. Risk factors of hypertension are genes, gender, age, race, obesity, sodium consumption, smoking, alcohol, less physical activity, stress, and caffeine consumption. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of age, sodium consumption, body mass index (BMI), the ratio of hip waist circumference (RLPP) with the incidence of hypertension in adult groups of fishermen in the work area fish Market Puskesmas Kota Bengkulu Year 2019. The study used a descriptive-analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The technique used is purposive sampling, with a sample number of 45 people aged (26-45 years). Statistical analysis is a chi-square test and logistics regression test. The results indicate the absence of age relations and RLPP with the incidence of hypertension (P-value > 0.05), there are IMT relations and sodium consumption with the prevalence of hypertension (p-value ≤ 0.05) and the most influential factor in the incidence hypertension, sodium ingestion (p-value 0.0005; OR 206, 28). Researchers advise people to reduce the consumption of high sodium foods.

Abstract

High Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is mostly caused by a lack of information and a bad habit of pregnant women in high-risk pregnancy treatment. This condition causes an impact to high maternal mortality during childbirth. This study has aims to identify factors as the main construction of the Participatory Asset Community Development Research Action Model (YUDHIA). This study used a qualitative approach. The location of the study is at Cimanuk, Pandeglang, Banten. Informants were chosen based on purposive sampling and snowball techniques. Key informants were four pregnant women that had complication risk. Supporting informants were eight-person. Data collecting used in-depth interviews and recorded by a tape recorder. Analysis data used RAP techniques and released 12 themes that described the main factors in the construction of the YUDHIA model. The description was (1) development of community assets, such as physical, economic, environmental, human, and social assets. (2) Community participation, such as the dimension of community contribution, community development, and organization. This study is community participation has been already existed by forming desa siaga (standby village). The most crucial asset in the community is human assets, midwifery, and dukun (traditional birth attendant), therefore create a strong commitment to giving priority to the needs and lives of pregnant women.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five years due to chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Malnutrition appears when the baby is in the womb and the early period after the baby is born. The purpose of this study is how the Continuum of Care Program is implemented, analyze cross-sectoral, and cross-program support in nutritional surveillance to prevent and manage stunting. The study design used a cross-sectional survey approach. The results of research from 6 Puskesmas working areas showed the highest number in Puskesmas Lemah Duhur with an incidence of stunting 81%, had a continuum of ineffective stunting treatments with an average of 63.84 and less available treatment centers with an average of 63.75. There are obstacles in sending information that occurs from the Puskesmas to posyandu cadres related to stunting. The range of treatments in providing effective care and place of care has the most significant impact on maternal health, the health of newborns, and children related to the incidence of stunting in each region. Collaboration and cross-sector programs are needed in stunting prevention by the government.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period with specific needs for growth and development. The reproduction of health education is essential to be given to adolescents because they are susceptible to the risks of reproduction health problems. Giving explanations of health education for adolescents by using media will maximize them in absorbing information since media has become an integral part of adolescents' life. One alternative media that is close and familiar with adolescents is an Android application that can be easily accessed by teenagers who have it through a handphone. The purpose of this study was to know the effectiveness of android based applications at the Central Jakarta Senior High School. The method of this research is a quasi-experimental research with control group design. Sampling by cluster sampling method at SMAN 1 Jakarta as an intervention group and SMAN 5 Jakarta as a control group. Statistical tests using the Paired T-Test, Wilcoxon Test, and Mann Whitney test. The results of the study show what is meant by the knowledge of adolescents with a value of p = 0,000, so Android application can be applied as a media tool about improving the health of adolescents in schools.

Abstract

The increase in non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, stroke, diabetes mellitus, joint disease, lack of physical activity, injury, and disability in line with the increasing need for physiotherapy services in health facilities, including in Public Health Centers. The role of the physiotherapist in the Public Health Centers is to carry out activities in the form of promotive and preventive without prejudice to curative and rehabilitative. The purpose of this study is to analyze physiotherapy services at the Public Health Centers using five levels of prevention measures, namely are health promotion, specific protection, early diagnosis and prompt treatment, disability limitation, and rehabilitation efforts at 6 PHC in DKI Jakarta. This study uses qualitative research methods through a phenomenological approach. The results of this study obtained a depth-overview of the efforts of health services that the provision of medical services is preferred over promotive and preventive efforts. Physiotherapy services at the PHC have been regulated in the Decree of the PHC’s Head by referring to Permenkes 75 (2014). Public health activities in collaboration with the Physiotherapy Services are only carried out by 3 PHC, and some of them only conduct individual services. This study recommends that adding one physiotherapist to be able to help physiotherapy services outside the building PHC and physiotherapy organizations can create public health training to support physiotherapy competencies.

Abstract

stunting is one of the targets of sustainable development goals (SDGs) included in the second sustainable development goal of eliminating hunger and all forms of malnutrition by 2030 and achieving food security. Indonesia is included in the third country with the highest stunting prevalence in the south-east Asia region (sear). One of the regions in java where there are stunting cases is in Yogyakarta, namely in Bantul Regency. This research aims to determine the perception of young women about stunting prevention through healthy living. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The variable in this study is the perception of young women regarding the prevention of stunting through a healthy lifestyle. This research concluded that some female subjects already understood the definition of stunting but did not yet know the important role of adolescents in the prevention of stunting before pregnancy. This shows that there is no appropriate perception among adolescents regarding the prevention of stunting with a healthy lifestyle since early adolescence. If the adolescent is not repaired, so in the future, there will be more and more expectant mothers who have short body posture and/or lack of chronic energy.
